SM reaps 25 nominees in the 18th Philippine Quill Awards

SM received immense appreciation for their hard work, and initiative amidst pandemic after bagging eight awards in the Philippine Quill Awards among its 25 nominations.

The eight Awards of Excellence that they took home is for SM Supermalls It’s a SMall World (Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication), SM Riders Program (Community Relations), and Juan Fun Adventure At SM (Special and Experiential Events).

SM Foundation’s Spreading #SocialGood stories clinched five awards in three categories, namely Community Relations; Corporate Social Responsibility; and Audio/Visual, and Publications. Among these programs, the SM Riders Program was a nominees for the Top COVID Comms 2020 Award.

“We are humbled to receive these recognitions from one of the country’s most prestigious award-giving bodies in the communications industry. These awards pay tribute to our MSME partners, shoppers, and communities, who have found hope amid uncertainties at the onset of the pandemic. We will continue to work harder to create programs that will benefit, not just our stakeholders, but the nation as a whole,” said SM Supermalls President Steven Tan.

These programs also bagged an Award of Merit that surely impacted consumers, and helped a lot of in need such as SM Supermalls’ #SafeHandsAtSM (Safety Communication), #VoteForMom (Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication), HUEniverse (Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication), SM City Baguio Project Seeds (Customer Relations).

No to forget the social initiatives and food festivals with strict procedures for the pandemic like SM for SMEs 2019 Videos (Community Relations), Kasama Ng SM (Corporate Social Responsibility), #SafeMallingAtSM Videos(Audio/Visual), BESTival, Biggest Lantern of Hope, and EnterTOYment Fest which all won in the Special and Experiential Events category, and ‘SM Together, We Can (the umbrella campaign for #FAMomentsAtHome, SafeMallingAtSM, and SM Take Out and Delivery, among others), which sealed two categories, namely Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication and Customer Relation; SM Development Corporations’ SMDC Happynings (Community Relations) and The Good Guys Campaign (Corporate Social Responsibility); and, SM Hypermarket’s Street Food Festival 2019 (Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication). Two Awards of Merit were given to SM Foundation’s #SocialGood Stories campaign for Community Relations and Social Media Programs categories.

SM will stop at nothing to prove that productivity in business can multitask towards charity as they continue to open doors for job opportunities.
