SM Prime Holdings claimed this year’s Philippines Property Awards top honor, Best Developer.

The SM Group was also declared winner in several other category including Best Retail Development and Best Retail Architectural Design, both for the Mega Fashion Hall (SM Megamall Expansion 2) Building D, through its subsidiary First Asia Realty Development Corporation.

I managed to conduct an interview with Ms. Annie Garcia, President of SM Supermalls, regarding her reaction to winning the 2 Retail awards:

 

SM Development Corporation (SMDC) unit dominated multiple categories as well winning the following:

Best Landscape Architectural Design for Shell Residences
Best Landscape Architectural Design for Shell Residences
Best Affordable Condo Development (Metro Manila) for Mezza II residences
Best Affordable Condo Development (Metro Manila) for Mezza II residences

 

They also got 4 highly commended certificates for other projects for:

  • Highly Commended Landscape Architectural Design for Grace Residences and another one for Trees Residences
  • Highly Commended Affordable Condo Development for Green Residences
  • Highly Commended Mid-Range Resort Development (Resort)  for Wind residences

Another SM affiliate that bagged more awards is the BDO Unibank. It won in the Best Office Development, Best Office Architectural Design and Best Commercial Development (Philippines) for it’s new BDO Corporate Tower Ortigas project.
