Rabiya Mateo to showcase her signature ‘Hala Bira’ walk in Miss Universe Pageant

The Ilongga beauty queen expresses her excitement for the competition saying she has been practicing her signature walk called ‘hala bira’ while wearing heavy gowns for the pageant. In an interview with Dyan Castillejo on “TV Patrol,” Mateo mentioned how her training was under the supervision of Miss Universe Philippines creative director, Jonas Gaffud.

“Now I really need to study the social issues. Q&A ang favorite segment ko sa competition. Eh, I like to study. I love to learn. So sana makapasok sa top five para magamit ang mga napagaralan,” said Mateo regarding how she prepares for one of the most anticipated part of the program.

Mateo urges to fellow Filipinos to vote for her on www.missuniverse.com/vote to help her enter the Top 21 of the pageant, “Please support my journey to the crown by voting for me online,” she said.
