Project 50/50: Photo 03 – Colorful Patterns of the Street Market

This photo and post is part of my Project 50/50: Starting today December 1 until December 14, 2012 11:59 p.m., I have to post these 50 quality photos to my blog under the menu Project 50/50.

PHOTO 3/50 – COLORFUL PATTERNS OF THE STREET MARKET

This third photo was also taken at Plaza Miranda in Manila in front of Quiapo Church. At the plaza, there are lots of street vendors. I saw this Muslim lady vendor selling footwear. I like her colorful headdress which was colorful and with patterns of circles. I decided to take this photo to tell how colorful the street market in Quiapo is.  I decided to isolate her headdress against the blurred background of the footwear to make it a bit different from your typical colorful market scenes. I did not want to include her face so that it will not steal the attention of the viewers againts my intent of “Colorful Patterns of the Street Market”.
