TV 5’s new TV series Kano Luvs Pinay stars comedienne Tuesday Vargas as Cookie and American actor Lee O’Brien as Matthew. This new rom-com and sitcom show uses Filipino humor, kilig, and family values while taking a look at the intricacies of interracial and intercultural relationships between a Filipina and her American fiancé.

Also is the casts are Chok Chok Venida as Cookie’s son, Martin Escudero as Cookie’s brother who is anti-American. Partnered with Martin is Eula Caballero who plays Martin’s love interest forming the second love team in the show.

Other casts incluceds veteran actors Boboy Garovillo and Ces Quesada as the parents of Cookie. Playing Cookie’s best friends are model Wilma Doesnt as Osang, and theater actress Kiki Baento is Girlie.

The series will unfold the lives of couple Cookie and Lee on how they prove to the world that love conquers all and that love is the universal language that defies grammar, pronunciation, and sentence structures. Catch the funny moments when the Filipino family and community reacts and comments to the presence of Matthew in their lives. Or how Matthew tries to cope and understand the Filipino culture he has put himself into, his culture shocks and how he copes with it.
