The Pioneer ElastoSeal has truly made significant strides!
Initially ranked seventh overall after the first two stops, the Katibays made an impressive leap, ascending three spots to secure the No. 4 position at the mid-season conference’s halfway mark.
After consistently clinching top-four finishes in the previous conference, they finally reached the grand finals alongside esteemed PBA giants: TnT, Cavitex, Meralco, Terrafirma, Blackwater, and MCFASolver. The Philippine Basketball Association’s 3×3 Season 3 Second Conference, held from October 16 to November 27, 2023, witnessed the Katibays securing an admirable third place.
Having claimed their inaugural championship in 2022, the Pioneer ElastoSeal Katibays experienced a hiatus in podium finishes. However, the recent Grand Finals on November 27 saw them reclaim their position, securing third place behind TnT and Cavitex. Their journey back to the top was undoubtedly a testament to ElastoSeal’s resilience and determination.
While the gold eluded them, their unwavering spirit and resilience were evident in their battle for the third-place position. The winning team took home P100,000 for the leg champion, while the runner-up received P50,000, and the third-placer earned P30,000.
