NutriAsia bags trophies at the 18th Philippine Quill Awards!

In the recent 18th Philippine Quill Awards, NutriAsia – the Philippines’ leading distributor and producer of condiments and sauces, got numerous awards for various marketing campaigns and corporate initiatives in 2020.

The company won three Excellence Awards and one Merit Award in the online ceremony last March 25 by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines.

NutriAsia’s Excellence Awards went to the Locally Superfruits and Locally #ImmUNITY campaigns, as well as the Bring Your Own Bote (BYOB) Zero-Waste initiative.

Locally Superfruits introduced nutrient-dense and vitamin-packed fruit juices like Mangosteen, Passion Fruit, and Dragon Fruit to the Filipino market. Meanwhile, the #ImmUNITY movement promoted the health and economic benefits of fruit juices produced locally.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the two-pronged campaign successfully communicated the health benefits of drinking fruit juice while also promoting the livelihood of local fruit farmers and communities, both of which were particularly important.

For allowing customers to commit to a zero-waste scheme, the BYOB initiative won the Excellence Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. People were able to purchase condiments and cooking oil by refilling reusable containers at BYOB stores located in strategic areas throughout Metro Manila, reducing the amount of plastic waste produced.

NutriAsia also earned a Merit Award for its Mother’s Day initiative, Boomer vs. Zoomer. Due to the 2020 Metro Manila ECQ quarantine restrictions, it was one of the first promotional videos designed and executed remotely. It paid tribute to both mothers and Filipino frontliners in a critical and extraordinary period of the pandemic.

These accomplishments are a testimony to NutriAsia’s vision of constantly producing and improving Masarap, Masaya moments for their customers, as they prepare to launch even more ground-breaking promotions that will resonate with the Filipino market and beyond in the days ahead.
