Nameless Kids Craft a Sonic Portrait of Manila in Their Debut Album ‘Manila in Bloom’

Embark on a musical journey of love, pain, peace, and happiness with Nameless Kids’ debut album, “Manila In Bloom,” set to be released on major streaming platforms starting Friday, September 15.

With a unique fusion of alternative and indie-pop, this album showcases nine original tracks, including “nameless.kids,” “Til It Turns Around,” “Midnight Sun,” “Bukas Na Lang,” “Quiet Place,” “Hotel Runs,” “Lonely,” “Papertowns,” and the lead single, “Manila in Bloom.”

The band’s creative process comes to life as they explore a myriad of themes set against the vibrant backdrop of Manila.

Explaining the album’s theme, the band shares, “The concept of Manila emerged as a tribute to the stories we heard while growing up, tales of how beautiful Manila used to be. Thus, this album is our interpretation of what it feels like to love, endure heartache, find serenity, and simply be joyful in Manila.”

Nameless Kids, formed in 2019, is a five-member band composed of Nhiko Sabiniano, Kyle Perry, Tati De Mesa, Kim Allen, and Imay Alconaba. In their debut year, they received recognition as the Best Performance of a New Group Recording Artist at the 34th Awit Awards. They were also featured in Nylon’s Big, Bold, Brave Awards and the MYX Music Awards, headlined by LANY.
