Movie Review: Snow White & The Huntsman

Thanks to Nuffnang and SkinWhite beauty products, my daughter and I saw Snow White & The Huntsman.
I was not expecting that much from the movie knowing it’s just an adaptation of the famous fairy tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.  However, the movie was awesome and I high recommend watching this movie.

“In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.” – IMDB

“Kristen Stewart (the Twilight saga, On the Road) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil Queen Ravenna (Oscar winner Charlize Theron of Prometheus, Hancock) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagines was that the young woman who has escaped her clutches and now threatens her reign has been training in the art of war with a Huntsman named Eric (Chris Hemsworth of Thor, The Avengers) who was dispatched to capture her.” – Snow White and the Huntsman Official Website

Trailer:

Loosely based on the fairy tale, it’s totally a different story that captures the imagination.  From the magic mirror, vain queen, huntsman, seven dwarfs, poisoned apple, and the awakening kiss had new presentation in this movie.

The production was really done well. From exotic locations, awesome special effects, and great casting, the movie is one of the best fairy tale movie I’ve seen so far.

The casting was really a match.  Kristen Stewart, with her innocent portrayal of Snow White and Charlize Theron of her powerful role as the evil Queen.

Rated at PG 13, I highly recommend the movie for the whole family!
