Min Yasmin Debuts her solo album “Pangarap”

Min Yasmin, the popular Malaysian RnB singer is back in the Philipines and performed for the Philippine entertainment media crowd in Manila Polo club to debut her latest solo album titled “Pangarap” which contains 14 tracks.

The powerful and soulful singer captivated her audience with Filipino songs included in the album. Julfekar Music is the producer of the album, and it is owned by Julfekar, an award-winning Malaysian songwriter-producer who is also the Managing director of MilleniumArt.

 

Min credits Filipino telenovelas as a big help in learning the Filipino language. She is most especially fascinated with “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” and Richard Yap’s role as “Ser Chief” in “Please Be Careful With My Heart”,an ABS-CBN program. Min adores local singers including Lani Misalucha, Regine Velasquez and Jessa Zaragoza pertaining to them as great performers and finds them nice. She also mentioned Gary V and Martin Nievera as singers that she likes.

In Malaysia, Min is known as the Soundtrack singer as she appears in Malaysian OSTs, movies, and teleseries. Last year, the Malaysian singer held her first international concert in Zamboanga and Tawi-tawi in March and August 2017. In November 2015, Min was awarded with ‘Outstanding Asian Singer 2015’ by Gawad Sulo ng Bayan Awards and was chosen as ‘Music Ambassador 2015’. The ceremony was held in Manila.

Back in October of 2015, Julfekar Music produced the album “2 Voices” wherein Min Yasmin collaborated with Nikki Bacolod. Their duet ” Sa Iyo” was a hit and stayed in the Top 10 charts in LOVE Radio, YES FM among many other radio stations in the Philippines. This year, her “Pangarap” album is expected to be a hit with its 14 tracks written in the Filipino language including minor languages Tausug & Sama Bajau plus a couple of Malay and English songs. Filipinos will love her version of “Bakit Pa” by Jessa Zaragoza and “Kahit Konting Awa” by Nora Aunor. Julfekar collaborated with Vehnee Saturno who composed “Kahit Konting Awa” and Bakit Pa”, and with Filipino lyricist Roosevelt ‘Raz’ Itum for the other Filipino songs in the album.

 

The rest of the songs in the said album are “Sabihin Mo Na”, “Pag-ibig Kong Ligaw”, “Sigaw Ng Damdamin”, “Sa Iyo”, “In The Way You Love Me”, “Tibuuka Na”, Atay Ku Masi Ra”,“Kasilisa Ini”, “Belum Lelah Setia”, and “Wahai Kekashi” .
