Philippines’ beloved alternative rock band, Mayonnaise, will be wrapping up their momentous 20th anniversary celebration in the local music scene with a spectacular concert on May 20, 2023. Set to take place at QC Circle, the event will kick off at 5pm and promises an unforgettable experience for fans.
Named “MAYO 20: The Finale,” this anniversary concert commemorates Mayonnaise’s legacy as one of the most significant Filipino bands of their generation, known for producing resonating hits that have captured the hearts of listeners across different age groups and backgrounds.
“MAYO 20: The Finale” serves as the pinnacle event in a series of shows dedicated to giving back to the loyal music fans who have supported Mayonnaise throughout their journey. Last year, Mayonnaise embarked on a 20th anniversary tour, performing at prominent venues nationwide, spanning Luzon to Mindanao. This year, they continued to engage their fans through various domestic events. On May 20, the five-piece alternative rock group will culminate their anniversary festivities in an iconic venue known for its heritage and as a hub for diverse, family-friendly gatherings.
Presented by Yellow Room Music and Killer Bear, with support from Minsan Studios and Araw Sa Gabi, the finale show will feature an extended set by Mayonnaise themselves. Additionally, several esteemed music industry peers such as Barbie Almalbis, Champ Lui Pio of Hale, Sud Ballecer (Sud), Argee Guerrero (I Belong To The Zoo), and Josh Villena (Autotelic) will make special appearances.
