LOINIE’S iWANTTFC SERIES “UNLOVING U” EARNS PRAISES FROM VIEWERS, TRENDS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte’s first iWantTFC original series trended on social media as viewers declared their praises and sentiments while watching its first episode on the streaming service on Monday (February 8).

Just minutes after the episode was made available on iWantTFC, the series about forbidden love entered the top trending topics on Twitter Philippines, where it trended with the hashtag #UnlovingUPremiere.

According to Twitter user @OneAndLoiNie, “I’m glad that direk Easy was able to give us a different kind of love story. So excited to see how Fiona and Alfie will fight for their love lalo na magkapatid ang tingin ng tao sa kanila.”

In the series, Loisa and Ronnie play step-siblings Fiona and Alfie, who are forced to live with each other after the wedding of their parents Darlene and Henry (Gelli De Belen and Ariel Rivera). Despite their situation, however, Fiona develops a crush on his stepbrother but continues to hide her feelings.

While full of light moments, the episode also made netizens emotional because of its final scene where Fiona and Alfie bid each other goodbye after their parents’ separation.

Twitter user @youreTRENDING said of the scene, “Bakit po @iamAndalioLoisa @iamr2alonte sa unang episode masaya tapos nakakaiyak agad? Masyado niyo pinapatunayan na magaling kayo. Ganda ng first episode.”

“Jusmio! Last part ang gusto ko! Kasi sobrang naiyak ako! Ano beyen @iamAndalioLoisa at @iamr2alonte! Ginalingan niyo masyado! Nadala ako sa scene na yon sobra!” tweeted @iliopsoas18.

@blisszx, meanwhile, said, “Pero grabe talaga iyakan ng LoiNie sa episode 1, kay loisa medyo nasanay na ako eh pero si ronnie maaa pasaverg, ang gagaling niyo na talaga!!! #UnlovingUPremiere.”

As the story continues, Fiona and Alfie will find themselves even more attracted to each other. But will they act on their feelings?
