Korean workplace dramedy “Race” premiere exclusively Disney+

RACE, a new Korean workplace dramedy, is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on May 10. The show follows the story of Park Yoonjo, a determined and hardworking individual who lacks formal education and connections, but possesses the drive to succeed. When it is revealed that her recent hiring was part of a diversity program, Yoonjo must overcome the prejudices of her colleagues and prove her worth at Seyong, a major Korean conglomerate. Set in modern-day Seoul, RACE offers an entertaining and insightful glimpse into the complexities of the modern workplace.

Starring Lee Yeonhee as Park Yoonjo, Moon Sori as Goo Yijung, Hong Jonghyun as Ryu Jaemin, and Jung Yunho as CEO Seo Donghoon, RACE is written by acclaimed screenwriter Kim Roori and directed by Lee Dongyoon. The show was first announced at the 2022 Disney Content Showcase, alongside other exciting Korean titles available on Disney+, such as Call It Love, Soundtrack #1, and Big Bet.
