KALADKAREN LEADS TRABAHANAP VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR OCTOBER 30

Job-seeking Filipinos have another opportunity to find work right before the holidays as TrabaHanap holds a virtual career fair this Saturday (October 30) with host KaladKaren.

The TrabaHanap Virtual Career Fair will start at 4 pm on the TrabaHanap Facebook page (@TrabaHanapOfficial), where KaladKaren does the online job-hunting show “Trabahanap Live.”

To participate, TrabaHunters (job-seekers) only need to create an account and upload their resume on the website www.TrabaHanap.com, where they find and learn more about the job openings from different companies and industries.

Recently, TrabaHanap.com debuted new site features that will help users in their job-hunting journey. These include a resume builder, a salary calculator, and application status tracker, among many others.

Aside from the TrabaHanap Facebook page, the TrabaHanap Virtual Career Fair will be streamed on the Facebook pages of CineMo, MORe-Luzon, MORe-Visayas, MORe-Mindanano, TFC Official, TFC Asia, and TFC Middle East.  It will also be available on the @FYEchannel on the Kumu app with replays on CineMo’s YouTube channel.

A public service initiative under ABS-CBN’s CineMo, TrabaHanap began in 2017 as on-air job listings flashed during the closing credits of the movies shown in the channel. In 2019, the TrabaHanap website was launched to serve as a bridge for job-seekers and employers. It has also joined job fairs in the country for those without internet connection and held a virtual job fair to help those who in search for work during the pandemic last June 11.

Meanwhile, popular TV personality Kaladkaren has been busy as the fairy godmother of job-seekers since hosting “TrabaHanap Live” starting February this year. The show has segments like “TrabaHero of the Week,” featuring a successful applicant on TrabaHanap.com and “TriviaHanap,” where viewers can get tips, tricks, and meaningful insights to help them succeed in their job hunt. KaladKaren also interviews employers who have job opportunities for Filipinos.
