Jollibee Celebrates Grandparents Day

Jollibee celebrates Grandparents Day by honoring the Lolos and Lolas at Kanlungan ni Maria in Antipolo, Rizal on September 6, 2014.

Kanlungan ni Maria is an institution whose beneficiaries are senior citizens who are poor, abandoned, homeless, and sick elderly who have no immediate family and relatives to look after them. The institution accepts male and female elderly who are sixty (60) years old and above, and have passed the requirements mandated by the institution. The center also accepts referrals from NCR, other LGU, NGOs and other institutions provided that they will comply with the qualifications and submit the necessary requirements.

During the celebration, there was a short program which involved gift presentation, singing and a dance number from Jollibee.

It was a truly commendable gesture from Jollibee to bring joy to grandparents on this memorable day.
