Jace Roque Releases Catchy Dance-Pop Track ‘Casual’

Singer-songwriter Jace Roque, in his debut with Star Music after joining the ABS-CBN record label, unveils his latest single “Casual,” which delves into the initial stages of a situationship before commitment.

Describing the track, Jace Roque mentions, “It is light, fun, and sexy, capturing the essence of the first few months of a relationship.” He encourages authenticity and emotional honesty, stating that “Casual” is a love manifestation track urging people to express their feelings openly and allow love to flourish.

Jace Roque, a nominee for the 2023 Awit Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Recording with his previous release “Back to the Beginning,” goes on to share that he personally wrote and produced “Casual,” infusing it with Latin and Reggaeton sounds as a tribute to his heritage. He draws inspiration from his Spanish lineage and expresses pride in his roots while remaining true to his artistic identity.

The single’s cover art holds significance for Jace, representing eternal love through a Celtic Love Knot. “The artwork features a Celtic Love Knot in the background, a symbol that’s also tattooed on my hip. It comprises two interlocking hearts symbolizing love between individuals, with the continuous line signifying everlasting love,” the electro-pop artist explains.

In addition to his music career, Jace Roque is a commercial model and actor, boasting several music releases such as “Sober,” “Day and Night,” and “Trust.” He also had a supporting role in the award-winning film “Across the Crescent Moon” in 2017.
