Migs Bustos is shining a light on different Filipino athletes who have brought honor to the country, as well as those who have the potential to achieve recognition, in TeleRadyo’s “Sakto” with his new sports segment “Tara, Game!” every Thursday.
In “Tara, Game!”, Migs talks to various athletes, envisioning the segment to be a platform not only for sports stars but also for “athletes or teams that need more recognition.”
Migs hopes that viewers realize the good values in sports that can be applied in real life, adding that there may be talented athletes from Visayas or Mindanao who have started from humble beginnings, and he wants to share their stories.
The TeleRadyo “Sakto” trio, Amy Perez, Johnson Manabat, and Jeff Canoy, are also thrilled to have Migs on the show every Thursday.
Jeff shared how important the space given by Migs is for sports, particularly during a time when many athletes are raising the country’s flag worldwide. Tyang Amy expressed her excitement to have a sports segment with Migs in “Sakto,” while Johnson looks forward to a happier mood on the set now that Migs is part of their “Sakto” family.
Migs said that the collaboration between “Sakto” and ABS-CBN Sports Digital is a significant step in strengthening sports in ABS-CBN and the Philippines.
