Huawei Consumer BG wows crowds with their cutting-edge technologies, flagship products, and ecosystem at the Mobile World Congress 2023 (MWC 2023) in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2, 2023. The theme “GUIDE to the Intelligent World” sets the tone for the exhibition area designed after the global high-end flagship store, offering an immersive experience that combines smart technology and trendy life scenarios to create a “tech oasis.”

Huawei’s smart wearables had a successful year in 2022, delivering enhanced user experiences through improvements in design, manufacturing processes, and software and hardware functions. At this year’s MWC, Huawei unveiled two innovative wearable products that showcase state-of-the-art advancements in wearable technology. The Huawei WATCH Buds integrates the features of TWS earbuds and a smartwatch, providing users with added convenience by combining these two devices into a single unit. The HUAWEI WATCH GT Cyber offers a Quick-to-Change watch case smartwatch, catering to the multi-scenario needs of younger users who desire self-expression.

Alongside their innovative hardware products, Huawei has also made significant strides in software capabilities, with features such as HUAWEI TruSeen™, HUAWEI TruSport™, and HUAWEI TruSleep™. These self-developed innovations provide professional health and exercise monitoring for users globally.

Huawei has been making impressive strides in the field of intellectual property, leading in the number of global patent applications. Recently, global patent database provider IFI CLAIMS Patent Services released data showing that Huawei has steadily risen in patent applications in the past two years, moving from ninth place in 2020 to fourth place in 2022. With a total of 2836 patents, an increase of 2%, Huawei has become one of the largest patent holders worldwide. Over the past decade, the company has invested more than RMB 845 billion in research and development expenses. Currently, it holds over 45,000 valid authorized patent families (consisting of over 110,000 pieces) across the globe, with over 90% being invention patents. The industry has fully recognized the value of Huawei’s patents.
