In a dazzling showcase of health and wellness, the Health & Wellness CONFEX 2024 was officially launched at Conrad Hotels & Resorts, heralding a transformative journey set to unfold from January 26-28, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The event, themed “Go & Get Better,” aims to position the Philippines as a global leader in health and wellness tourism. From renowned wellness resorts to accredited hospitals offering medical tourism packages, and organic farms to specialty shops, CONFEX unites stakeholders from the multi-trillion-dollar industry under one roof.
Regenerative tourism takes center stage, urging visitors to leave destinations better than they found them. The event is one of the focal points of a global multimedia campaign, and it includes an exhibit, conference, business matching sessions, and experiential activities. This trade fair is the only one in the Philippines that is dedicated to health and wellness tourism, products, and services.
Adding to the excitement, the CONFEX launched the “On Travel & Wellness” (OTW) television travel show-vlog. On GMA 7’s GTV, OTW presents viewers with a virtual exploration of the Philippines’ scenic wonders that emphasizes the importance of well-being.
CONFEX’s third day will feature the Masigabo Wellness Festival, a sincere salute to Filipino workers in other countries. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in various activities meant to promote relaxation and love, as well as listen to expert talks about financial health, physical wellness, beauty, sustainability, environmental protection, and government regulations.
Co-presented by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and supported by key partners such as the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and others, the CONFEX is set to make a lasting impact on the global wellness stage.
