Going Japanese at Miso Ten Restaurant at Robinson Magnolia

A blogger friend, Enzo of Juantraveler.com, gave me a Php 500 voucher for Miso Ten a couple of weeks back.  After attending Sunday church, my wife and I decided to use it and went to Miso Ten branch at Robinsons Magnolia at Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City.

The resto had both al-fresco and air-conditioned interior seatings. We decided to sit inside.
We ordered two set menus:

  1. Ramen Special Set
  2. Excellent Set Meal with Tori Kaarage

Ramen Special Set

This set meal is composed of:

  • Choice of Ramen
  • Gyoza
  • Chahan Rice

This meal set costs Php 450.

Gyoza

Enjoyed the taste of gyoza.

Chanan Rice

The Chanan rice was a bit bland for my taste but I think it’s design so it does not compete with the other dishes.

Sesame Miso Ramen with Roast Chicken

We selected the Sesame Miso flavor for the ramen. The soup base was just right and the roasted chicken complements the soup. The Ajitsuke Tamago (soft boiled egg) was just right.

Miso Ten’s ramen by itself are Php 285. Not bad for a tasty Japanese ramen.

Excellent Set Meal with Tori Kaarage

This set meal is  composed of:

  • Miso Soup
  • Kani Salad
  • Rice
  • Mixed Tempura (3 Pcs Ebi, Eggplant, String Beans, Pumpkin)
  • Tori Kaarage
  • Fruits

The set meal cost Php 450.

Miso Soup

I love their Miso soup. The soup was very rich in flavor. Highly recommended for soup lovers! Served hot and steamy.

Kani Salad

Their Mango Kani salad tasted very good. Their crab stick are good quality and yummy. I highly recommend this salad as well. Healthy and Tasty!

Tori Kaarage (Fried Chicken)

Their Tori Karaage was good as well. Served hot, even after a few minutes, steam comes out when you bit it.

Mixed Tempura: Ebi (Shrimps), String Beans, Pumpkin

Another one of their speciality: Tempuras. Topped on the rice as Tendon, this is the resto’s other pride.  One thing different in the way they served tempura is that it does not come with your typical warm tempura sauce with garlic. Instead, they use Tendon sauce, a slightly sweet slightly thick sauce that really complements the tempura.

Fresh Pineapple

The resto is very casual with good service. Food quality is very good and reasonably priced for a Japanese casual restaurant. If you are craving for ramen and/or tempura, I recommend you visit Miso Ten.
