Gogoro Philippines Launch It’s Inaugural Experience Center

Gogoro Philippines has successfully concluded a two-month pilot test of Gogoro’s innovative Smartscooter® and battery-swapping system. In collaboration with over 60 Globe employees, this pilot program showcased the remarkable potential of Gogoro as a sustainable transportation alternative.

The pilot test yielded impressive results, with 3,316 kilograms of carbon dioxide saved, 2,603 batteries swapped, and a total distance of 42,399 kilometers covered.

Bernie Llamzon, President of Gogoro Philippines, expressed, “The Philippines is uniquely positioned to embrace the global electric vehicle growth, thanks to the government’s robust EV plan. Erwin Nito, one of the Globe pilot testers, noted, “Riding Gogoro has unquestionably saved me both money and time during my daily commute.”

John Bernard Peralta shared his experience, stating, “Battery swapping has significantly improved my daily commute. I no longer have to wait for refueling.”

Alain Guinto marveled at Gogoro’s battery-swapping system, saying, “Gogoro’s battery swapping is so fast that you can get a fully charged battery in less than a minute.”

In anticipation of its grand launch on November 7, Gogoro Philippines will host an exclusive Sneak Peek event on October 25 at the unique Gogoro Experience Center (GEC) in Greenbelt 4, Makati City. This event promises select attendees an immersive introduction to the state-of-the-art technology that powers the Gogoro ecosystem.
