The BYD Dolphin Pure EV is a 5-seater electric vehicle propelled by a 70-kW (95 horsepower) electric motor, running on a 44.9-kWh lithium-ion iron phosphate battery. Its compact hatchback design offers a noiseless, vibration-free experience suitable for out-of-town trips, boasting high safety standards and zero emissions, contributing to a healthier environment.
AC Motors, under Globe’s principal Ayala Corporation, distributes this innovative vehicle through its key dealer networks.
In contrast, the Gogoro Smartscooters are two-wheeled marvels leveraging convenient and cost-effective battery-swapping technology. Empowered by “GoStations,” users can swiftly exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones in a mere six seconds.
Scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter, these scooters mark the collaborative efforts of Globe’s 917Ventures, Ayala Corporation, and Gogoro Taiwan, striving to introduce cleaner transportation options.
This year’s G Chance the Raffle featured one BYD Dolphin Pure EV and three Gogoro Smartscooters, claimed by fortunate subscribers Ysabel Ubana, Mario Acab, Jr., Eiryll Nynnya Ang, and Michale John Ilagan.
In incorporating e-vehicles into the raffle prizes for the first time, Globe underscores its commitment not only to fulfilling customers’ dream rides but also to propelling them into a new era of mobility, championing climate tech, clean energy, and sustainability.
