The 2024 roadmap for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Esports has just been unveiled, highlighting a significant shift in their approach. MSC, now known as the Mid Season Cup, takes center stage in this overhaul. This rebranding aligns with MOONTON Games’ ambition for “Esports for Everyone,” emphasizing diversity and inclusivity. The aim is to open up opportunities for global athletes to participate in one of the most-watched esports tournaments worldwide.

For the first time, the Mid Season Cup will venture beyond Southeast Asia, expanding to include regions like China, alongside a more extensive lineup and a boosted prize pool.

Get ready for an action-packed year ahead, promising increased inclusivity and diversity through an array of third-party tournaments and events. Over 2000 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang matches will take place across 55 countries and regions, hosted by MLBB Esports teams, professionals, semi-professionals, and community tournament organizers. Notable events include the Snapdragon Pro Series by EFG, MSC 2024, the MLBB Women’s Invitational, the M6 World Championship, IESF, and more.

Key regions set to be covered in the upcoming tournaments include Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Middle East and North Africa, East Europe and Central Asia, Türkiye, Mongolia, the Mekong Region (Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei), North America, Latin America, and notably, China.

The M6 World Championship will maintain its Wild Card Format alongside the Group and Knockout Stage, returning to Malaysia, the birthplace of the initial M-Series. This November to December spectacle will feature 20+ teams from over 20 countries and regions, showcasing over 50 matches.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues and semi-professional tournaments will occur between February and mid-June, followed by another series in August and October, acting as qualifiers for officially sanctioned competitions.
