This November, “MMK” will mark its 30th anniversary with stories of inspiration, hope, and love, starring Enchong Dee, Jodi, Coco Martin, Anne Curtis, Dimples Romana, and Angel Locsin as well as other stars from the Philippines.
INK OF SMILE
Enchong Dee’s Edwin Pranada’s story opens the month. Edwin learns to cherish his mother’s compliments for his siblings’ contributions of food and money. Initially, he collects trash to get money. But Edwin becomes tired of waiting and turns to con artists and drug dealers. This November 6th, watch him alter his ways and become a famous cosmetic tattooist helping alopecia patients for free (Saturday).
KAMAO
This November 13th, the longest drama anthology in Asia re-airs Coco and Jodi’s debut team-up (Saturday). Coco is Ramon, an underground boxer. But he changes jobs for his wife Mila (Jodi) and children. While looking for work, Ramon commits an act that makes his family despise him. Watch him learn from his errors and become a better parent and spouse.
SINTURON
Marrz (Anne) has always known she is different from his sisters. Because her father disapproves of her gender, Marrz moves to Hong Kong to aid her family and discover freedom and independence. On Nov. 20, Marrz will motivate people to accept themselves for who they are (Saturday).
KOTSE-KOTSEHAN
Viewers may also watch the Angel and Dimples episodE “Kotse-Kotsehan,” which won the Asian Academy Creative Awards for Best Single Drama/Telemovie in 2018. Watch Samina’s (Angel) perspective on how she discovered Idai’s (Dimples) son, who is suspected of being abducted, and how she plans to establish her innocence in order to reclaim her freedom on November 27.
