This vibrant celebration of Easter Sunday drew families and children alike, offering a plethora of activities and entertainment against the stunning backdrop of Discovery Samal’s serene vistas.
As part of the resort’s Happy Summer campaign, the Easter Safari Adventure promised an unparalleled experience that left guests eagerly anticipating the day’s festivities. Upon arrival, guests were instantly transported into a safari-themed realm, greeted by life-sized displays of safari animals and a myriad of activities. From jungle inflatables courtesy of PopKarts Davao to a safari-themed photo booth provided by Funpix Davao, every moment was imbued with adventure and excitement.
Led by a charismatic safari guide in full costume, the event commenced with warmth and excitement, welcoming families to an afternoon of joy and celebration. As the buffet snacks opened, guests indulged in a delectable array of treats to fuel their adventure.
A highlight of the Easter Safari Adventure was the enchanting dance performance by Discovery Samal’s beloved mascots, Coco and Pearl, accompanied by their safari companions. Both children and adults delighted in the opportunity to meet and interact with these charming characters.
The festivities continued with engaging parlor games, fostering a spirit of friendly competition among the children. Winners of games such as ‘Bring Me’ and Trivia were rewarded with mini coco or pearl bears, showcasing their quick thinking and agility. The entertainment reached new heights with a vibrant bubble and dance performance by Ziastep, captivating children as colorful bubbles filled the air, enveloping them in wonder.
However, the pinnacle of excitement awaited at the beachfront with the thrilling Easter Egg Hunt. As the sun dipped below the horizon, children eagerly scoured the area in search of special eggs, with additional surprises hidden throughout, adding an extra layer of excitement to the adventure.
As the event drew to a close, guests eagerly awaited the announcement of winners, recognizing those who excelled in costumes and egg hunting prowess. Prizes ranged from unique loot bags to cuddly Coco or Pearl Bears, with one fortunate individual claiming the Grand Prize, including an overnight stay in a Junior Suite.
