Subsequently, strategic partners, including the esteemed Aboitiz Group, step in to offer technical training for a period of up to three months, followed by paid internships lasting two to three months.

The JobStart program was established under the JobStart Philippines Act, also known as Republic Act no. 10869, which was enacted on June 29, 2016. Since its implementation, the program has made a significant impact nationwide, benefiting approximately 29,000 individuals to date. The Local Government Unit (LGU)-based Public Employment Service Office (PESO) plays a crucial role in executing the program, working hand in hand with partner LGUs across the country. As of April 2023, the program has established partnerships with 52 LGUs nationwide, with 16 LGUs implementing the program this year.

Through the collaborative efforts of the government, strategic partners, and local communities, the JobStart program continues to empower young Filipinos, providing them with invaluable skills, experience, and opportunities for growth. By bridging the gap between education and employment, the program contributes to the overall development of the youth and promotes the creation of a skilled and productive workforce. With its commitment to enhancing the employability and future prospects of the Filipino youth, the JobStart program remains a beacon of hope, unlocking doors to a brighter and more prosperous future.
