New Espionage Series Premieres Exclusively on Disney+ June 21
Disney+ has released the trailer and key art for Marvel Studios’ latest espionage thriller series, “Secret Invasion.” The live-action, original series will premiere exclusively on Disney+ starting June 21.
The series is set in the present day MCU and follows Nick Fury as he discovers a secret invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury teams up with allies such as Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth, to stop an impending Skrull invasion and save humanity.
The star-studded cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.
“Secret Invasion” is directed by Ali Selim, who also executive produces the series alongside Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Kyle Bradstreet, and Brian Tucker. Kyle Bradstreet is the head writer, while Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams, and Brant Englestein serve as co-executive producers.
