Dear Survivor Self,
It has been years of your high tides and low tides. It may seem impossible but look how far away you’ve come. Deep as the ocean, high as the sky, far from sight, that every single step you take will be much greater than any obstacles that you will go through.

Back to the days when some people say “you can’t”, were the times that you said to yourself that “I can and I will.” It was them that filled the tank of fuel for you to explore the unseen road.
“Even the best fall down sometimes” as the lyrics of the song plays.
Your downfalls became your motivation to move forward, to strive harder, and to reach of what is impossible. The little voices in your head and the silent battles that only you can hear, and those actions that only you could understand became your way to where you are right now. Life is not straight as the road but you were able to find the highest point of the way and slowly face the reality of life.
The things we used to plan ahead of time sometimes will not go as what we expected it will become, but you are stronger than anyone thinks about you. Your dreams, your passion, and your purpose drives you to explore more about life and inspires you to make the most of everyday.
For the past years, you’ve been regaining yourself to be the person you are right now. Every year has a different story to tell, different downfalls, heartbreaks, and losses and it did not stop you there. You made the biggest leap and I’m sure your little self is very much proud of you.
“I’ll Rise Up, and I’ll do it a thousand times again.” mornings to night, until you fall asleep, this song has been the song of your life. The past years may be so bad to you, some days may be so gray, and sometimes might feel like you are alone but you are able to rise and pick yourself up and walk like nothing happened.
As you go along with life, different rolls of the wheel have come in your way and the best thing here is you were able to move along with the rhythm. Twists and turns in your life have been endless, the impossible in your dreams are becoming possible. Little by little you’re striving and the vision is getting clearer day by day.
Despite the pandemic that everyone suffered from, this isn’t just about you but also with the people that surrounds you and everything that’s happening in the world. Year of pandemic happened and all of a sudden the world crashed, everyone is fighting for the life that they have.
Facing each day with fear and thinking “What if I couldn’t make it?” but God is within you and your courageous actions towards what is happening is bigger than your worries. And still, right now, the time that you have to spend with your loved ones is very much treasured and makes you realize that it is not all about being at the top, life is being contented with what you have and live the moments in every day.
Unexpected things happen at the most unexpected time, but this could be the other road that you have to take and make a change. With all the things happening, little by little you are now reaping the product of your efforts. It doesn’t matter how far or how little move you’ve done but you are progressing and you will get there.
Everyday is a reminder for you that no matter how hard the past is, there’s still a sun that will rise and remind you that you are the star of the show. Hope and faith is always with you and yourself is your own partner in every step of the way. You are greater than your all the challenges, and chances in life are endless, you may not see it now but you will still end up with what is prepared and planned for you.
Let yourself explore and grow while you are still capable. The road is wide open, the sea is still getting deeper, the sky is still bright, and so the opportunities that you will meet along the way. You are allowed to make a change and you can be the change, so don’t give up and always remember to always keep your feet on the ground.
Do not forget to give back and be grateful. Seeing yourself right now proves that you can and you have the guts to take the risk in life. May this remind you that your dreams are slowly turning into reality.
