Chan Toei Properties breaks ground first subdivision project Hana Garden Villas

Last May 24, 2022, Chan Toei Properties Inc. (CTP), a partnership between Prime Eastern Spring Holdings Inc. (PESH) and Toei Housing Corporation of Japan, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming project, the Hana Garden Villas, at Nuvali Boulevard corner Canlubang Golf Road in Cabuyao City, Laguna.

Led by CTP Chairman of the Board Jose Mari Chan, the celebrated occasion was held in the presence of CTP CEO Francis BJ Albert, Directors Takamasa Sashida and Tomokazu Aoyama, with former Mayor Rommel A. Gecolea of Cabuyao City also in attendance.

A first of its kind in residential development by CTP, Hana Garden Villas is a unique collaboration with one of Japan’s largest developers for ready-built homes and the Philippines’ most respected designers: Architect Joel Luna of Joel Luna Planning and Design (JLPD) for master planning, Andy Locsin of Leandro V. Locsin Partners (LVLP) for home concept designs, Architect Jorge Yulo of Jorge Yulo Architects and Associates (JYAA) for amenities design, Architect Vince Lim of CLARQ Design Studio for landscaping, Engineer Rannie Ison of R.S. Ison and Associates (RSIA) for site engineering  and Architect Mikael Yap of FOYA Architects, the architect on record for the homes.

CTP Chairman Chan said, “We are proud and happy to have entered into a partnership with a prestigious and highly successful Japanese company, none other than TOEI. Toei Housing Corporation and its mother company, IIDA Group Holdings Co., Ltd., are leaders in Japan for ready-built homes.

“It is indeed the combined vision of the Chan family and TOEI to marry Japanese construction and engineering principles with work by some of our best and most experienced local designers, to create communities that showcase the best of both worlds.

“Today, we proudly break ground on our flagship project, the Hana Garden Villas. We hope that this project will be the first of many. We want to create homes where Filipino families can live and grow in harmony.”

CTP is primarily owned by PESH with investments from Japan’s Toei Housing Corporation. PESH is owned by the Chan family, with investments in mixed-use real estate projects, sugar manufacturing, sugar trading and power co-generation. Toei Housing Corporation is a member of IIDA Group Holdings Co., Ltd., Japan’s largest ready-built home provider with over 43 years of experience. TOEI’s vision is to utilize Japanese quality and ingenuity to enrich Filipino homes and communities.

CTP Director Takamasa Sashida said, “TOEI came to the Philippines and decided to establish Chan Toei Properties because we saw that the Chan family shares the same vision. We will do our best to provide ‘houses that make people happy’ and a ‘lively lifestyle’ to many Filipino families.”

Located  at the corner of Nuvali Boulevard and Canlubang Golf Road, in Cabuyao, Laguna, Hana Garden Villas will feature well designed homes ideal for Filipino families with healthy and spacious living environments, infused with Japanese technology and engineering principles. The soon-to-be-built exclusive community will feature connecting parks, activity areas, a playground, an infinity pool, a designer clubhouse and underground utilities.
