We got invited again by Chef Dino Paulo Peralta aka Big D in their other branch at City Walk Mall in Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City to try out their new dishes.

Pulled Pork Nacho Platter
One reason to go to Big D’s is their pulled pork! I love their pulled pork sandwich. This great appetizer Pulled Pork Nachos Platter is a great way to start drenching your taste buds with the Southern flavors. For only Php 250, you can savor Big D’s in-house made nacho chips topped with yummy pulled pork shreds and cheese.
Hush Puppies
The Hush Puppies are these yummy balls made of 3 cheeses: Mozzarella, Cheddar and Parmesan. The mix of cheeses are deep fried to golden brown perfection and best eaten warm for that cheesy melting sensation. The serving cost Php 175.
Steam Pot Shrimps
For seafood / shrimp lovers, the Steam Pot Shrimp is a must try. With a bit hot flavor and the hint of the chorizo flavoring the shrimp, it is definitely an exciting dish just for Php 490 per serving.

“Corned Beef Platter”
Cured for around 10 days, this chunk of meaty beefy goodness is a meat lovers delight. Slowly cooked with the sauced reduced into the meat, the corned beef is so tasty. Strangely I tasted hints of “kaldereta” but Chef Dino said it does not have any tomato or bell pepper ingredients at all. I think it’s just the meaty goodness that remind me of the tasty “kaldereta”!
Big D’s Souther Platter
This is what I was waiting for! The Big platter of Southern meaty comfort food goodness!!! With a full slab of bone-in ribs, thick sliced bacon, garlic links, smoked chicken plus sides and BBQ sauces, this is definitely for solo. This “barkada” platter will be a big winner for group of people like families or friends. I highly recommend this platter!
