Belle Radiates in Latest EP “And Solemn”

Belle Mariano discovers healing, purpose, and determination in her latest EP, “And Solemn,” which she unveiled during an album launch last Saturday (January 27) at the SM City North Edsa Skydome.

The EP features five tracks, with the standout song “Nobody Else” composed by KZ Tandingan. It explores the theme of finding the right person and yearning to spend a lifetime with them.

Other tracks in the EP include “Walang Pake” composed by Trisha Denise, “Shot Me Right Through” by Angelica Tagadtad, “I Choose Me” by Anjila Lim, and a collaboration with Ben&Ben titled “Autumn,” composed by Paolo Benjamin G. Guico and Miguel Benjamin G. Guico. This particular track serves as a soundtrack for the hit series “Can’t Buy Me Love.” Belle worked as both the artist and producer alongside StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.

“And Solemn” marks the completion of the Kapamilya singer-songwriter’s two-part album, with the first part, “Somber,” released in June 2023.

During “The Solemn Album Launch” event, Belle was honored with the Lullaby Artist Award from Spotify.

Expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to nurture her love for music, she shared, “Creating music is a way for me to express myself. I see it as an art, ang ganda niyang boses. Thank you so much sa lahat ng nagmamahal at sa lahat ng nagtatangkilik Filipino music, maraming-maraming salamat po.”

Notable figures present at the event included StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo, and ABS-CBN Music head Roxy Liquigan, who announced that Belle will soon have a birthday concert.
