Ateneo opens BlueSwab COVID-19 testing facility

Get tested for COVID-19 the fast, efficient, and safe way through BlueSwab, the RT-PCR testing facility at Ateneo de Manila University which opens Thursday, 1 July 2021.

BlueSwab is a drive-through and walk-through swabbing facility located at the Loyola Heights, Quezon City campus, and the tests are done by the Ateneo Molecular Pathology Laboratory (AMPLify).

The service is available to the public from 7am to 12nn Mondays to Fridays, and 1 to 5 pm on Sundays. Those who want to avail of the service can do so in three easy steps:

Book. Book and pay for an appointment at least one day before the preferred date of swabbing, by visiting https://blueswab.ateneo.edu/. 

Swab. On the day of your appointment, proceed to the swabbing venue at the Loyola Heights campus. The entire process is estimated to take up to 15 minutes, but be there at least 10 minutes before your schedule.

Get Results. Your test results will be emailed to the email address you used to register for your appointment. Results will be available the same day for tests done on weekdays (Monday to Friday), while results for tests conducted on Sunday will be released Monday evening.

The test is priced at Php 3,400 for tests done on weekdays (results will be out on the same day), and Php 3,000 for tests done on Sundays (results will be out by Monday evening). Ateneo de Manila employees have special rates or subsidies applicable. Please get in touch with the Office of Human Resource Management and Organization Development (OHRMOD) for details.

BlueSwab is a service of AMPLify, part of Ateneo de Manila University’s response to the nation’s call for more diagnostic facilities to help ramp up testing capacity as one way to fight the pandemic, and all other notifiable infectious diseases.
