ABS-CBN Sports “Home Jam Dunkers Only”

ABS-CBN Sports continues to deliver entertainment to sports fans this quarantine period with “Home Jam: Dunkers Only,” a slam dunk contest featuring three high-flying UAAP stars to be streamed live on the ABS-CBN Sports Facebook and Instagram accounts on June 27 (Saturday) at 2 pm.

Ready to flaunt their hops and creativity for the sake of fun and bragging rights are University of the Philippines Fighting Maroon Juan Gomez De Liaño, Ateneo Blue Eagle Thirdy Ravena, and De La Salle Green Archer Jamie Malonzo, who will deliver three rounds of dunks from their respective locations.

The winner of the dunk-off will be decided by judges Kobe Paras, the 2013 and 2015 FIBA 3×3 Under-18 World Championship dunk champion, and former NCAA champion and NorthPort Batang Pier point guard Robert Bolick.

NU Bulldog Shaun Ildefonso, who hosts the ABS-CBN Sports digital show “SRSLY,” will call the competition.

Meanwhile, sports fans can look forward to more of the “Home Jam” series as it will soon bring more exciting basketball events such as three-point shootouts and skills challenges featuring other famous athletes. Participants will be chosen based on their abilities and access to a basketball court, in compliance with the guidelines on community quarantine.

Watch “Home Jam: Dunkers Only” and witness the first ever stay-at-home slam dunk contest featuring Juan, Thirdy, and Jamie on the ABS-CBN Sports Facebook and Instagram accounts on June 27 (Saturday) at 2 pm.
