60 Years Celebration of SM and Lego at SM Aura Premier

The celebration of  the 60th anniversaries of two iconic brands SM and Lego was held at the SM Aura Premier last May 25.

The celebration unveiled the 5-ft tall SM 60th mosaic made from 17,736 pieces of creative and quality bricks especially built by Lego to pay tribute to SM’s remarkable 60 year’s in the industry.

LEGO has been the toy of the century  loved by kids and kids at heart since it started in 1958. LEGO started with the simple idea of adding tubes inside a plastic and also this year marks its 60th anniversary. Lego play has been about the joy of building and giving each child the chance to shape their own world through inventive play.

In celebration of LEGO‘s 60 years of bricks, the Lego Creative Carnival was set up  at the third floor level of SM Aura Premier. The concept was to transform it into a Lego city filled with colorful bricks and interactive activity areas where kids and adults can unleash their creativity and try a free building experience.

Here are some of the activities you can try at the Lego-themed stations.

Lego City Station is where kids can construct their own car and test it on a ramp.

The Lego Friends station which has the mini doll Stephanie invites kids to decorate her newly baked cupcakes.

At the Lego Duplo station, Duplo bricks are designed for younger kids. Informative panels are made available to understand more about the benefits of this to them.

The Lego Ninjago station lets Ninjago lovers to participate and take a spinner to the entrance of the Garmadon’s lair .

Lastly, learn more about Lego and it’s rich history at the Lego 60 Years station. Kids can also join in building the iconic Lego duck using bricks.

You can still check out the “SM Celebrates 60” mosaic and the Lego Creative Carnival until May 31 at the SM Aura Premier.
