CenterPlay at City of Dreams Manila is set to bring the romance of the 80s back to the stage as it welcomes the legendary Raymond Lauchengco for his highly anticipated return. The OPM icon will headline the opening concert of the CenterPlay Concert Series at 9:30 PM on January 21, 2026, marking his second performance at the venue after a successful show in 2024.
This concert promises to take music fans on a nostalgic journey, reliving the magic of the 80s with Lauchengco’s timeless hits, including “So It’s You” and “Farewell”—two unforgettable songs from the iconic 80s coming-of-age film “Bagets,” which not only catapulted Lauchengco to stardom but also made him one of the heartthrobs of the decade. Other fan favorites from his rich repertoire, such as “I Need You Back,” “Saan Darating ang Umaga,” “Shadow of Time,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You,” will also be performed live.
Beyond his celebrated career in music, Lauchengco is an accomplished actor and multi-faceted artist. From representing the Philippines at the prestigious Tokyo Music Festival in 1987 to performing across over 30 countries, his artistry has spanned decades. A recipient of the 2007 Aliw Award for Best Concert Collaboration, Lauchengco has also ventured into writing, painting, and sculpture, showcasing his dynamic talent in both the local and international entertainment scene.
Raymond Lauchengco Live at CenterPlay kicks off an exciting lineup for the CenterPlay Concert Series, with future performances by Nina on February 16 and Gabby Concepcion on March 18. This concert series follows the success of performances by Ariel Rivera and Jaya in December, along with past shows by Janno Gibbs, Moira, Rey Valera, Noel Cabangon, Yeng Constantino, and many more OPM stars.
In addition to the concert, Moranos, Highschool Playlist, and Le Chic will keep the energy high, performing from 6 PM to 3 AM.
For an elevated entertainment experience, guests can enjoy a reserved seat or table starting at P3,500, which includes a selection of bar nosh, burgers, fries, and beverages. VIP couch seating for a group of eight and smaller tables are also available.
