Chevron Philippines Inc (CPI), the distributor of Caltex fuels and lubricants, and Chevron Holdings Inc. (CHI) recently collaborated with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to organize a blood donation drive. The XYZ Manila Employee Network for CHI and CPI volunteers spearheaded the event, resulting in the collection of 105 blood bags. Additionally, a separate blood donation drive at Chevron Batangas terminal in San Pascual gathered a total of 22 blood bags.
This initiative is part of Chevron’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement. Chevron has established a longstanding partnership with PRC, extending support through regular contributions to relief and rehabilitation efforts during times of disasters. Notably, amid the peak of the pandemic, Chevron also demonstrated its commitment to public health by donating hundreds of Moderna vaccines to the Philippine Red Cross.
