“Pili, Pinas!” Which song is your bet to represent the country?

A total of ten tracks have been unveiled as potential contenders to represent the Philippines on the “Eurovision Song Contest Asia” stage. The country’s definitive representative will be chosen during the upcoming broadcast of “Pili, Pinas: Philippine Selection Night” on August 30 (Sunday) at 9:45 PM.

The chosen representative will advance to the “Eurovision Song Contest Asia” on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. This event serves as the grand debut for the celebrated European Broadcasting Union (EBU) television music franchise in the Asian region

Serving as the official broadcast partner for the country’s delegation, ABS-CBN has unveiled the ten musical contenders written and performed by homegrown Filipino creators. Roxy Liquigan, head of ABS-CBN Music and Integrated Events, expressed enthusiasm for the platform, noting that the event offers a premier opportunity to spotlight the distinct Filipino sound and amplify local narratives on a global scale.

“Eurovision has always stood for one powerful idea; that a single song can unite different cultures and move an entire continent. By partnering with the EBU and Voxovation, we are giving our creators the global stage to say this is who we are, and this is our story,” Roxy said.

For ABS-CBN Music, this is where the story takes off. Let’s show the world the sound of the Philippines,” Roxy added.
