Powering CALAX Caltex to Open New Retail Site

The upcoming site is built to enhance every drive—offering motorists a smooth, convenient, and enjoyable refueling experience

Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), has officially broken ground for its first fuel service station along the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), set to open in March 2026. Designed as a full-service rest stop, the upcoming site will feature trusted Caltex fuels, vehicle care services, popular dining options, and a convenience store—making it a one-stop hub for travelers journeying through Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Metro Manila.

A Strategic Gateway for Motorists
Located just three kilometers from the CALAX toll plaza and adjacent to a fast-growing residential community, the new Caltex station is set to serve tens of thousands of motorists daily. With CALAX currently handling around 45,000 vehicles per day—and traffic volume expected to double to 90,000 upon project completion—the development underscores Caltex’s expansion plans to bring its premium fuel and service closer to more Filipinos.

Sustainability at the Core
The CALAX station will highlight Caltex’s sustainable station concept, integrating eco-friendly innovations such as solar panels, rainwater collection systems, and EV charging ports. By supporting both traditional and next-generation vehicles, Caltex continues to drive its commitment to a greener future.

Fuel, Lubricants, and Full-Service Care in One Stop
Motorists will enjoy Caltex’s complete line of clean and high-quality fuels, including Caltex Platinum with Techron, Caltex Silver with Techron, Caltex Diesel with Techron D, and Caltex Power Diesel with Techron D.

For vehicle maintenance, the site will house a Caltex autoPro workshop offering a 22-point vehicle check and oil change services powered by Caltex Havoline and Delo lubricants. With expert mechanics and modern facilities, customers are assured of safe, reliable, and convenient care for every journey.

Partnerships Driving Progress
The two-hectare site is being developed through a partnership with the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD). UPHSD leaders, led by Dr./Brig. Gen. Antonio L. Tamayo, facilitated the land lease to Caltex.

Perpetual Help Medical Center Las Piñas President Lt. Col. Richard Antonio Tamayo shared, “This project not only provides motorists with greater access to quality fuel but also creates jobs, boosts economic activity, and supports the growth of businesses in the community.”

CALAX operator, represented by Arlette V. Capistrano, Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management, added, “This milestone is about more than just infrastructure—it’s about providing a safe, clean, and reliable space for motorists to rest and refuel exactly where they need it.”

Meanwhile, newly appointed CPI General Manager and Country Chairman Pongtorn Tangmanuswong emphasized the project’s broader vision: “Today’s groundbreaking is about building a future of enhanced mobility, stronger partnerships, and a continued commitment to service excellence.”

Looking Ahead
The Caltex CALAX station is set to redefine convenience and sustainability for Southern Luzon motorists. As part of Caltex’s broader expansion, the development promises to make everyday journeys safer, easier, and more rewarding.
