Hiphop/R&B-inspired girl group XG has released their first live album, XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” Live, on 8th August!
XG is set to immortalize the unforgettable finale of their record-breaking first world tour with the release of a powerful new live album. Featuring raw, high-energy audio from their emotional Tokyo Dome concert, the project brings fans back to a night that marked both a triumphant homecoming and a defining milestone in the group’s global journey.
Spanning nearly a year since May 2024, the XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” blazed across 35 cities in 18 countries with 47 sold-out shows, cementing the group’s explosive rise to worldwide acclaim. Along the way, XG made history at Coachella 2025, where their performance trended No. 2 globally on X and drew praise from top international media outlets.
The tour’s grand finale at Tokyo Dome gathered 50,000 fans, filling the legendary venue with energy, emotion, and unforgettable memories. The live album, comprising 13 tracks and 18 songs including medleys, encapsulates every heartbeat of the night. It features XG’s electrifying anthems like “WOKE UP”, “SHOOTING STAR”, and “LEFT RIGHT”, while highlighting emotional performances such as “IN THE RAIN” and “IS THIS LOVE”, the latter a staple on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 for 21 consecutive weeks.
