Known for its deep fishing roots, Malabon has long thrived as a center for aquaculture. At the heart of this heritage is the Del Rosario family, whose livelihood has been intertwined with the city’s rich waters for generations. Inspired by this legacy, the family established Fisher Mall—an enterprise that honors their beginnings while embracing modern retail.

From the Sea to the Storefront
Roberto “Bobby” Del Rosario, a proud Malabon native, founded Irma Fishing and Trading Inc., now one of the country’s leading players in the fish trade. This success gave rise to the first Fisher Mall along Quezon Avenue in 2013, where Irma Fishing continues to supply fresh seafood to Fisher Supermarket, keeping the family’s fishing tradition alive.

Driven by a desire to give back to their roots, the Del Rosarios opened Fisher Mall Malabon—not just as a business expansion, but as a heartfelt homecoming. Located at the intersection of Malabon, Navotas, and Caloocan, the mall has since evolved into a bustling lifestyle hub, bringing together quality retail, food, and entertainment while helping drive the city’s commercial growth.
A Community Catch
Fisher Mall Malabon has significantly contributed to the city’s economic progress. Since its opening, it has generated over 7,000 jobs. In 2024, the mall reached 91% of its total operational capacity, with eight more stores slated to open in 2025—projected to raise occupancy to 96%, both in terms of total units and Gross Leasable Area (GLA). In February 2025 alone, foot traffic rose by 6%, reaffirming the mall’s role as a vital community destination.
Beyond large retailers, the mall champions local entrepreneurs by offering leasing opportunities, pop-up markets, and events that highlight homegrown brands. This inclusive approach helps nurture small businesses and strengthens Malabon’s economic landscape.
Entertainment with a Twist
Fisher Mall Malabon isn’t just a shopping spot—it’s also a unique venue for fun and recreation. It introduced the city’s first Roller Disco Skating Rink, offering a retro-meets-modern experience for skaters of all levels. Meanwhile, Playland, the mall’s indoor amusement center, brings joy to children and families with its arcade games, rides, and interactive play zones in a safe and welcoming environment.

Rooted in Purpose
More than just a commercial center, Fisher Mall Malabon is a committed partner in community building. The mall works closely with the local government to support programs like Malabon Ahon, which provides financial and social assistance to residents. It also hosts job fairs, livelihood training, and outreach initiatives, helping empower individuals and local businesses alike.
Through these efforts, the mall has become a bridge between commerce, public service, and local governance—championing inclusive growth and shared progress in Malabon.
Sailing Toward the Future
Firmly anchored in its fishing heritage and driven by community spirit, Fisher Mall Malabon is more than a shopping mall—it’s a symbol of connection and progress. Looking ahead to 2025, the mall remains committed to supporting government-led programs, empowering small businesses, and creating engaging experiences for its visitors.
By continuing to evolve with the community it serves, Fisher Mall Malabon strengthens its role as a dynamic hub for commerce, leisure, and culture.
