Calista is a young, fierce, and talented Filipino girl group. As they release the music video for their debut single “Race Car,” they are set to take over the international stage.
Today, as the world celebrates women, we meet Calista, the country’s highly awaited international (I-Pop) girl group. Nonetheless, Novotel Araneta roars as Calista delivers an electrifying performance of their breakthrough single “Race Car.
“These girls are on the rise and they’re getting there fast. Calista promotes women empowerment and ‘Race Car’ is meant to be an anthem. It’s for all girls who have a strong drive to reach the top and aren’t afraid to get what they want”. Calista managaer Tyronne Escalante shares.
Marcus Davis, a well-known music producer, wrote “Race Car,” a song about Calista’s journey to the top of the industry. The music video, which showcases the brilliant members of the female group Olive, Laiza, Anne, Denise, Elle, and Dain, was uploaded on YouTube today.
“We launch the video today, very aware that it’s ‘International Women’s Day.’ Calista represents all women that are claiming their space. They’re here and they’re ready to prove themselves.” said Tyronne Escalante.
The music video was shot in Pasay’s Asian Aerospace hangar, Makati City’s I’M Hotel’s rooftop bar Antidote, and Mabalacat, Pampanga’s Clark International Speedway.
