Elnella is excited about their first movie My Fairy Tail Love Story

Finally, the spotlight is on Janella Salvador & Elmo Magalona or more popularly known as ‘Elnella’ as they join together as a love team in “My Fairy Tail Love Story”, Regal Entertainment Inc’s Valentine movie for this year. This is their big break following their successful debut at “Maalaala Mo Kaya”. The award-winning director/producer/writer Perci Intalan directed Elnella’s milestone project which will be shown in theaters on the 14th of February. The highly anticipated movie is Graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB).

“Janella is born to be a real-life Disney Princess. She has the talent, the looks, the personality and the sheer energy,” said Intalan. “Luckily, elmo, also has a beautiful singing voice and complements her perfectly. And this allowed us to create a pivotal musical moment in the film where the audience will just know that this couple is meant to be together.”

The acclaimed director is known for his movie “Dementia” starring Nora Aunor. Intalan also worked at the Walt Disney company for 6 years as an executive producer and shares that My Fairy Tail Love Story” is  the project that he had been waiting for.

“I wanted to do something totally different from Dementia. And it can’t get any more different than ‘My Fairy Tail Love Story” he said. “There have been so many successful mermaid stories in cinema and on TV but our story is different. It’s our chance to tell a story with the youth of today in mind and that’s what gives our film a distinct personality from past mermaids.  We won’t just tell a story but we will create a movie experience with Janella, Elmo and Kiko Estrada that our audience will never forget.”

Kiray Celis, Dominic Ochoa, Dimples Romana, and Kakai Bautista are also among the cast of the long awaited movie. Catch “My Fairy Tail Love Story” in cinemas February 14th nationwide. Everybody can watch the film as it is graded G by the The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
